Spare fishing gear for Fire victim

Bassbusters,

I have a friend who lost everything (house, boat, clothes, fishing gear….you name it) in the fire that went through north of Santa Cruz. He loved to ocean fish the most but has been unable to go due to the lack of gear and needing to spend his money on getting back on his feet with housing. He will end up being ok, but if anyone has any fishing gear suitable for the ocean I would love to get him some so he can start the new year off with a smile fishing from a pier, jetty, or the beach. I am happy to pick up whatever you are willing to donate. I have a rod and reel, plus some bait and stuff to help start this off, but anything else would be awesome. If you have anything you are willing to part with please reach out to me and we can set up a time to pick it up.
